Orientation and Integration: The office organises orientation programmes to help new international students acclimate to the university environment and local culture.

Ongoing Support: They offer continuous support with academic advising, cultural adjustment, and personal issues. This includes workshops and social events.

Liaison Services: They act as a bridge between international students and other university departments, ensuring that students’ needs are met efficiently.

Community Building: By organising events and activities, the International Office fosters a sense of community among international students, helping them build connections and support networks.

International Scholarships

International students applying for Undergraduate (UG) and taught postgraduate (PG) programmes can apply using the appropriate 'Apply Now' button on the course page.

International students applying for a Postgraduate teacher training programme must apply through the Department for Education (DfE) Apply system. More information on how to apply can be found here. Please be assured that you do not need to have a health and physical capacity assessment or UK DBS check before applying. Should you be successful in being offered a place with us, you will be contacted with more information about this.

If you require a Student Route visa to study in the UK, you will typically be required to sit a Secure English Language Test (SELT). For all of our courses, we require a level of English that is equivalent to an overall IELTS score of B2 or above to meet minimum UKVI requirements, however this can vary per level of course. We realise that you may have very different English Language qualifications to IELTS, or want to know what alternatives we accept, so please check our website for the most up to date information.
